Boswell Williams who held the position of Governor General of Saint Lucia between 1980-82 has died. He was 88. Williams also represented Vieux Fort from 1974-79. He replaced Sir Allen Lewis in 1980 first as acting GG and later GG between 1981-82 during a period of political unrest in Saint Lucia.

I think he was the member of Parliament for Vieux Fort (North) as I cannot remember him in the polls for Vieux Fort (South). His brother, Bruce Williams stood for Vieux Fort (South) at that time.
Everyone is dying right now, I am always blowen away when people freak out over death, you were born to die, from the very first breath you started a journey towards death, so I am not surprised that he died at that old age, old people die all the time, even Governer Generals. It's a gift to the living.
