Fuel Price Adjustment

The public is hereby notified that effective Monday, October 24th  2011, the
prices of fuel in St Lucia have been reduced as followed Gasoline: from $3.37 to $3.22 per liter;
Diesel: from $3.36 to $3.31 per liter; 100pound cylinder of LPG from $260.78 to $254.93 per cylinder; 20 pound cylinder of LPG from $37.16 to $35.99 per cylinder.
The reductions in these prices of fuel are reflective of the recent drop in
international oil prices, which were  influenced mainly by weak economic conditions in the US and the euro zone.
If the recent trend of lower international oil prices continues, consumers can expect further reductions in fuel prices at the pump in St Lucia.
Government will continue to closely monitor movements in oil prices and
will ensure that consumers benefit from the lower import prices, in keeping with the fuel pass-through mechanism.         Consumers are informed that the next fuel price change will take effect on November 21, 2011
