On Saturday, May 30, 2015 the police formally charged 29-year-old Denver Melville of Reduit, Gros Islet for the offence of possession of firearm.
Melville was charged in connection with a shooting incident which occurred on Friday, May 29, 2015 about 2:05 a.m. on Dauphin Street, Gros Islet
Melville made a court appearance before the First District Court on Monday, June 1, 2015 when he was granted bail.
The bail conditions are as follows: bail set at EC$5000, suitable surety or land document.
Melville is ordered to report to the Gros Islet Police Station daily at the hours of 9:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Melville is also assigned to a curfew between the hours of 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. daily and should not be within 100 yards of the Friday Night Gros Islet Street Party.
