Having won the Caribbean Alliance Gold Cup last year VSADC failed to retain the title, however, it was somewhat of a consolation when they won the Flow Plate Championship in the Veterans in Sports In Football Tournament last Saturday evening at the Phillip Marcellin Grounds in Vieux Fort.

VSADC won the Flow Plate Championship in thrilling fashion over Caricom Masters. The game ended 1-1 after regulation and extra time and was eventually decided on penalty kicks.

CEO of Veterans in Sports Inc, Alvin Malaykhan who was not 100 percent , having injured himself in a previous game, gave Caricom Masters the lead with a goal in the 22nd minute. His third of the tournament.

VSADC replied with a goal from former national player Sean Kirton in the 32 minute. That would be the only goals scored in the game, as neither team broke the deadlock after extra time.
