Heineken kicks off Jazz Promotion

As one of the original and longest serving sponsors Heineken is back with Saint Lucia Jazz, once again as an integral part of the event which is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year.
Starting this weekend the world most famous beer Heineken will join the world renowned Saint Lucia Jazz in a promotion which will offer beer lovers opportunities to win main-stage season tickets for the 2011 edition of Saint Lucia. On stage will be acts like John Legend, Trey Songz, Maceo Parker, Chuck Brown, Yellow Jackets and many others “live” and in living colour.
For a chance to win this prize, starting this weekend customers purchasing 12 packs of Heineken at retail outlets and supermarkets will receive a Heineken Jazz entry. Completed forms can then be dropped off at place of purchase or WLBL offices.
Then on April 29, 2011 at a grand Heineken Jazz kick off party at Gros Islet three lucky winners will be announced for this all inclusive package. Each winner will be allowed to bring along a guest to enjoy Saint Lucia Jazz 2011, VIP Style from the comfort of the Heineken VIP Beer garden at Pigeon Island.
According to this Heineken brand manager this is another excellent opportunity for the deepening of the relationship between the festival organizers the Saint Lucia Tourist Board and Heineken.  “We are indeed happy to be here at this juncture once again as we celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the Saint Lucia Jazz Festival and each year we try to extend our reach by not just partnering with the Saint Lucia tourist board and the various other festival entities, but also try to leverage our association by engaging the public through various promotions and this promotion is yet another step in this direction,” Harry says.
Heineken has provided Saint Lucia Jazz with nineteen years of unwavering support as the official beer of the festival. This year Saint Lucia Jazz runs from April 30- May 8, 2011.
