Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 62 year old, Jean Hamilton Louis alias “Coolie” of Caye Manje, Monchy. On Sunday, January 17, 2016 about 9:46 p.m. Louis was discovered with multiple stab wounds to the body near a shop in Caye Manje. He was transported to the Victoria Hospital where he was pronounced dead by a medical doctor. A post mortem has been scheduled for Tuesday, January 19, 2016.
This is the third homicide for 2016.
