Homicide in New Village

On Saturday, 24th October, 2015 about 8:15 p.m., police responded to a report of a stabbing at New Village, Castries. An investigation is now underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the death of 31 year old, Dave Monrose who is from the area.

The police received information that Monrose was allegedly stabbed by his girlfriend upon arrival at the scene. He succumbed to his injuries after being transported to the Victoria Hospital.

24th homicide for the year

An individual is presently in custody assisting with investigations.

The incident is the twenty-fourth homicide for the year 2015.
