On Thursday evening as the sun went down, the team from the Wellness Centre at The BodyHoliday showed why the jewel in Sunswept Resorts’ crown has become a permanent fixture at the top of many travel industry lists of the best spas in the Caribbean and world.
At a glittering cocktail reception celebrating the launch of the new Eve Hair & Beauty Salon, local ladies were treated to a warm welcome from the staff and management, along with a tour of the sophisticated, state of the art premises and a taste of the available treatments at the Wellness Centre, formerly known as the Oasis Spa. Over champagne, canapés and live sax music, potential customers were able to see for themselves why The BodyHoliday remains far ahead of competition in the wellness sector, and many were visibly surprised and excited by the high end quality of the products and treatments on offer, as well as the modern beauty of the centre itself.
Kurle Stanislaus is the Salon and Skin Clinic Manager, a qualified skin specialist with ten years of experience, eight of which have been with The Body Holiday. She has a self-confessed passion for the science of beauty and visits the UK annually to undergo intensive training in new and more advanced treatments, which she then passes on to her team.
According to Kurle, the addition of the Eve Hair and Beauty Salon to the well-established Skin Clinic means her team can now offer a wider range of cosmetic, beauty and skin treatments, thereby extending The BodyHoliday’s holistic approach to wellness. She believes in the importance of looking after your skin, but acknowledges that many customers fail to realise when they are not doing a very good job. Customers at Eve receive a free consultation during which their skin is assessed by a qualified aesthetician, and a personalised
treatment plan is drawn up to deal with specific issues, Whether the problem is ageing, wrinkles, acne or pigmentation, the team
at The BodyHoliday have solutions available, some of which show results after only one session.
