L-R: Stephenson King and Kenny Anthony: Both leaders will address the nation

This evening the leaders of the island’s two main political parties are set to make a final appeal to St Lucian voters. Elections will be held tomorrow Monday November 28. St Lucians will head to the polls from 6am and cast their votes at different polling stations islandwide.

United Workers Party leader Stephenson King is for the first time seeking his own mandate to become the island’s prime minister. King was appointed as prime minister in 2007 following the death of former prime minister Sir John Compton.

The St Lucia Labour Party’s Kenny Anthony is too seeking re-election as prime minister following his party’s defeat at the polls in 2006.
