King Leaves Burglary to Police

Former Prime Minister and now Minister for Infrastructure, Ports, Energy and Labour, Stephenson King confirmed his home was burgled on Friday August 16, and that the police are currently investigating the matter. He would not disclose what was stolen or anything else regarding the incident.

Speaking to reporters before the House of Parliament on Tuesday, he said, “The matter is in the hands of the police and I leave it to the police. It was burgled and therefore I place it in the hands of the police. I have every confidence that they will resolve it. It happened Friday afternoon.” 

The police press office said that there was no available information about the burglary or the investigation.
