Latest Edition of Kaiso Magazine Launched

Kennedy “Boots” Samuel, editor of Lucian Kaiso.

The Folk Research Centre hosted a press launch on Friday morning at its Mount Pleasant Headquarters for its 2015 edition of Lucian Kaiso. The magazine has been published by the FRC from 1990. It is a valuable document that researches and presents the rich history of St. Lucian calypso, soca and related personalities and events.
The 2015 issue pays special tribute to the late Jeff ‘Pelay’ Elva and is now on sale at the FRC and will be available on news-stands and other outlets this weekend, cost: $20.00.
