Twelve LIME St. Lucia employees have been honoured for their longstanding and dedicated service to the company. Recognizing employees for their hard work and dedication to service is a time-honoured tradition at LIME. As one of St. Lucia’s largest and most enduring employers, the company has long been known for its commitment to employee development and training and its generous benefits package.
The latest award recipients were hailed for their loyal service provided over periods ranging from 10 to 20 years. The presentations were held on Monday February 16, 2015 at the LIME Corinth compound and were attended by a number of high-level officials including Ms Geraldine Pitt, CEO LIME Southern Cluster, and Head of Human Resources – Southern Cluster, Mr Joseph Augustin.
The three longest-serving employees were each hailed for their 20 solid years of service to the company, namely Ronald Joseph, CFO, Eustacia Ferdinand, Revenue Assurance and Donald Dorius, Head of Sales currently on assignment in Grenada.
Also recognised for 15 years of sterling service to the company were Terry Hunte, Credit Control, Dahlia Felix, Customer Support and Cindy Joseph, Retail Agent. The awards for 10 years of service went to Valentina Aubert, Berlinda Modeste, Helen Lubrun, Silvanus Primus, Neila Melius and Rosana St. Martin. The employees were each rewarded with a monetary gift and plaque.
“It’s a privilege to work day in and day out with fun, hardworking and talented people,” said the Head of Human Resources – Southern Cluster, Mr Joseph Augustin. “Our Longstanding Service Awards is a demonstration of LIME’s commitment to our employees and an acknowledgement of the fact that our mission of continuously improving our services could not have been achieved without their dedication and experience. We’re in a fast-paced and increasingly high-tech industry and we need top talent and the passion and enthusiasm of our staff to succeed and stand out in the market. As our most valuable assets, we recognize and take pride in their relentless pursuit of excellence in delivering unmatched services to our customers,” he added.
Mr Augustin said LIME’s proposed merger with Columbus Communications would further strengthen the company’s management team with highly skilled, experienced and committed employees focused on delivering a world-class customer experience and service excellence.
“In the coming months, customers will begin to enjoy much greater choice, improved reliability and performance and a comprehensive and highly innovative portfolio of high-quality products and services. We’re committed to delivering the best networks and the best service experience to customers across Saint Lucia,” Mr Augustin said.
