LIME One Rate hits the spot!

LIME prepaid mobile customers are now able to call at super affordable rates.

LIME pulled out all the stops for the announcement of what the company says is one of the most important initiatives ever introduced in Saint Lucia. Music, fanfare, Carnival bands and a hip, up-tempo multimedia campaign supported the roll-out of One Rate for prepaid mobile, as LIME slashed its rates to the lowest ever on island.

LIME prepaid mobile customers are now able to call any network, anywhere, anytime, for one flat rate of 60 cents per minute.

LIME Saint Lucia General Manager, Chris Williams delivered the good news on Saturday at an event held in the JQ Rodney Mall parking lot. Soca monarch Pringles, aka Superman HD, was master of ceremonies. DJ Levi Chin provided the atmosphere. Groovy Soca monarch, Tennyson John and fellow LIME ambassador Stacey Charles were on hand, as were Just 4 Fun and Mas Action carnival bands. The launch was carried live over seven radio stations.

Addressing a visibly thrilled audience, which included representatives from Government and the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission, Chris explained that LIME One Rate gives customers the best value ever seen in Saint Lucia.

“It’s available right now to all our prepaid customers,” he said. “No need to sign up, no minimum commitments, no usage restrictions. Just 60 cents to call anyone on the island and in 25 other Caribbean territories. No confusion, no gimmicks, no time limits, no selecting who you can be friends with based on the network they use. Sixty cents means TopUp lasts longest with LIME. It means for calls on island you will always be better off with LIME and you could save 25 cents a minute compared to Digicel.”

With LIME One Rate calling, all calls made to any network in Saint Lucia and 25 Caribbean territories, regardless of the time of day or night, will now cost the same low price of just $0.60 per minute. The roll-out of the campaign was also supported by sales activities at retail outlets and in various communities islandwide, with discounts on mobile phones including the Nokia Asha 201, Alcatel 296 and BlackBerry 9320. Customers have been turning out in droves to take advantage of the generous offers.
