Man charged for breaking curfew arrested again

A man previously arrested and charged for breaching Saint Lucia’s curfew order has been arrested again by the police. Acting Corporal Ann Joseph, Public Relations Officer of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force, made the disclosure at a press briefing moments ago.

She said that the male individual, “who was previously charged for breaking the curfew order, was arrested again in the Cap Estate area, this time for having broken into a motor vehicle in that area and making away with a quantity of cash and personal effects. He is in custody at the Gros Islet Police Station awaiting charges.”

Joseph also revealed that on April 18, a male was arrested in the Boguis area, after he was found in possession of a nine-millimeter taurus gun with eleven rounds of ammunition. The man is currently in custody at the Babonneau Police Station and charges against him are pending.
