NATIONAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS REGULATORY COMMISSION
PUBLIC NOTICE
ENFORCEMENT MANDATE
The NTRC, under the conferred powers of Telecommunications Act of 2000 informs members of the public and other stakeholders, including operators, current and proposed licensees of their continued enforcement drive.
Stakeholders are reminded of the requirements for provision of telecommunications services and operation of telecoms equipment, including usage of spectrum (frequencies) that a valid licence, frequency authorization, registration, and/or approval as prescribed by the telecommunications Act 2000.
In accordance with subject Act and ensuing regulations, authorization MUST be obtained prior to the importation, use or provision of services.

- Private Telecommunications Network LicenceÂ
- Value-Added Services LicenceÂ
- International Simple Voice Resale LicenceÂ
- Short Term Licence (< 15 days)
- Audio-text ServicesÂ
- Video-text ServicesÂ
- Amateur Radio LicenceÂ
- Family Radio Service LicenceÂ
- Land Mobile Radio LicenceÂ
- Maritime Mobile Radio LicenceÂ
- Aeronautical Mobile Radio LicenceÂ
- Ship Station Radio LicenceÂ
Certification:
- Type ApprovalÂ
Frequency Authorisation (as required for wireless operations)

- Terminal Equipment Dealer
- Customer Premise Wiring
- Amateur Radio Examination
- Restricted Internet Service Provision Licence ( = 15 units)

The Commission continues to engage stakeholders in our efforts to regularize their operating status, as it pertains to payment of fees, acquisition of licences and/or frequency authorizations, registration and certification. Further information on status of operators and users will be published as deemed necessary. The commission appeals to persons to ensure that they comply with the provisions of the Act.
