The Small Enterprise Development Unit (SEDU) of the Ministry of Commerce, Business Development, Investment and Consumer Affairs in collaboration with BELfund Saint Lucia will be hosting a Community Outreach Programme in the town of Dennery on Tuesday, September 2nd 2014 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Human Resource Development Centre, Grande Riviere, Mabouya Valley. The event forms part of the Ministry’s
Entrepreneurial Development Programme; the key objective being the promotion of an entrepreneurial culture and the development of best practices amongst potential and existing micro and small business owners.
At this Community Outreach Programme we intend to address the following:
· Entrepreneurship & Starting a Business
· SEDU’s Services (which includes Business Name Registration)
· BELfund’s Services
· The Annual Jazz Exhibition
This is one in a series of outreach programmes in various communities around Saint Lucia. We therefore encourage all persons who either own usinesses or intend to start a business to attend this activity. This is expected to be a very interactive session where persons would receive the information necessary to start up their businesses or improve on their existing businesses.
