Peter & Company Distribution steps up to Jazz & Arts

From the kick-off party of the 25th anniversary of the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival on Friday April 29 to the grand finale on Sunday May 8, Peter & Company Distribution will be an integral part of this year’s event. Through many of its products and brands, Peter & Company Distribution has teamed up with the Saint Lucia Tourist Board, organizers of the festival, as bronze sponsors of the annual festival to create engagements with patrons like never before.

“It is an exciting opportunity where we can leverage our brands and create great consumer engagement by partnering with the Saint Lucia Tourist Board at this year’s 25th Jazz & Arts Festival. Now as a merged entity, this aligns with our corporate social responsibility to support cultural activities and community development,” says Dexter Percil, Senior Sales & Marketing Manager.

Through two of its premium brands – Hennessy and Johnnie Walker Black – plus several others, PCD will celebrate the opening of the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival’s silver jubilee at the Mindoo Phillip Park on Friday April 29. The event will feature Hyper D and Hollywood HP, Sir Lancealot with Michael Robinson, Nerdy, Mysterio, Sedale & Wildfire, Arthur, Tropix band, Ezra, DYP, Lovindeer, Lyrikal and Dancehall performer extraordinaire Movado.

“It’s no mistake that we have strategically placed Hennessy at the forefront for the opening of Jazz, as Hennessy is Movado’s favorite drink and we will ensure we will quench his thirst that night!” says Akim Larcher, Moet & Hennessy Brand Manager.

During the festival PCD brands and products will be felt all over the island including Soufriere Creole Jazz & Arts, Monchy Mizik en Kweyol, Marigot Jazz, and Vieux Fort Jazz Mouvman Ansamn. Campari, Johnnie Walker Black, Ciroc, Dewars and Barefoot wines will be among the celebrated products at these events.

A number of the VIP and celebrity Jazz after-parties will also see the full effect of that special brand presence for which PCD is renowned. These parties include Atmosphere, Different Shades and Rapture.

For the mainstage events, which run from Friday May 6 to Sunday May 8 at Pigeon Island, the brands intend to wow customers as much as the mainstage acts themselves. These consumer engagements by the company will include a VIP lounge like no other, courtesy Johnnie Walker Black, Ciroc and Hennessy offering first class bottle service.

In addition, the newly renamed Kotex Refresh Zone will be an area for patrons to relax, enjoy chilled refreshments, and obtain samples of feminine hygiene items during the centre stage Saturday and Sunday acts while Kassav, Air Supply, George Benson and Marc Anthony raise the temperature.

The 25th anniversary of the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival is going to be a world class party like no other and Peter & Company Distribution will be there to invigorate, energize, quench and excite and even cool down when necessary.
