Our photographer dropped this one on us after he captured this male reveller on stage at the opening of carnival two weeks ago. The first comment that came from the STAR editorial team was that the photograph had hints of Larry Blackmon of R&B group Cameo fame and the song “Candy”. Some said they were feeling more traces of the Village People and their song “Macho Man”. Whatever, it’s all in the spirit of Lucian carnival and we were sure our female readers would indeed enjoy the change.
