On Wednesday June 3, Piton Beer reaffirmed its commitment to Saint Lucia Carnival and positioned itself as an integral player and not just a sponsor when it comes to the cultural showpiece. At a ceremony held at the JQ Motors showroom at Choc, Piton Beer unveiled its plans for this year’s event.
Underscoring the brand’s innovation with activities such as Piton Soca Starz, brand manager Rohan Lovence listed several other major carnival activities which Piton Beer is involved in. Piton is also throwing its support behind several carnival bands including Just 4 Fun, Red Unlimited, Toxik and Legends. One of the carnival queen contestants, Anya Edwin is also proudly sponsored by Piton this year. On Wednesday heques were presented to the various entities sponsored by Piton as well as to the Carnival Planning and Management Agency (CPMA).
Piton Beer has also recommitted it stance of being actively involved in the communities and this year will again be heavily involved in the various community carnivals.
