Prime Minister Allen Chastanet is scheduled to address the nation tomorrow, April 26 at 7:00 pm. The prime minister will speak on “the prospects for Saint Lucia’s economy amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.”
On Thursday, Senior Communications Officer Nicole McDonald announced that the government was forced to increase its overdraft and incur further debt, to pay public servants their full April salary in cash.
The address to the nation will be broadcast LIVE on the Government of Saint Lucia’s Facebook and Youtube pages, the National Television Network and other local radio and television stations.
