Team Digicel brought the curtains down on another successful Christmas Promotion at the Royal St. Lucia Police Band Headquarters after awarding one of its band members with $10,000.
Thirty five-year-old James Lewis from Maynard Hill has been a Digicel postpaid customer since 2006. James has always made it a point to pay his bill in full and on time and was rewarded for this with $10,000 from Digicel.
Upon arrival at the Police Barracks, Team Digicel was greeted with a warm welcome by James and the entire Police band. After a few guessing games as to the purpose of the visit, James Lewis was announced as the final winner of $10,000 in the Digicel “Together We Make Christmas Better” promotion.
When asked about his plans for the winnings an overjoyed James commented, “I will use $5,000 to travel for VISA purposes, and the other $5,000 to pay my utility bills, treat my mom, save and buy a few drinks for the band.” James added, “The band members are very happy for me and keep telling me that I am always winning things. I simply let them know you have to participate to win.”
