Prime Minister Warns of Online Imposter

A press statement from the Office of the Prime Minister on Thursday has indicated that Dr. Kenny Anthony has been made aware of a fake Facebook profile bearing his name and photograph. The imposter (or imposters) impersonating the prime minister is said to be engaging individuals who believe they are corresponding with the “real” prime minister.

According to the statement, in several copies of conversations obtained, the person (or persons) operating the fake profile has solicited personal information from contacts in exchange for cash and other promises. The prime minister wishes to advise that the only real profile bearing his name can be found at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000425153803 while his official, authenticated Facebook page can be found at https://wwwfacebook.com/kennydavisanthony.

Those who wish to dialogue with Dr. Anthony can do so via these profiles. While the PM would not speculate on the motive behind the fake profile, he asks all to be on alert when sharing personal information or requests on Facebook, especially in such a heightened political environment.
