Rotary Helps Charities

Rotary Club President Konrad Wagner making presentation to Governor General Dame Pearlette Louisy.

In keeping with the fourth object of Rotary International which reads, “the advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service,”

the Rotary Club of St Lucia continues to provide service to needy persons and communities around the island. This is possible through their many fundraising events like the annual Wine and Cheese Festival, one of Saint Lucia’s premier charity events, now in its 12th year.

Under the distinguished patronage of Dame Pearlette Louisy, Governor General of St Lucia, the Rotary Club along with sponsors puts on the extravagant and elegant evening of wine, cheese and socializing every year.

The Rotary Club has donated a percentage of profits from the annual event to the Governor General to be used toward her charities of choice.
