St Lucia swim team presented

The 2013 St Lucia National Swim Team to compete at the OECS Championships was presented to the public and media on Saturday 26th October at the Rodney Heights Aquatic Center.

Attended by swimmers, coaches, SLASA officials, sponsors, family and media personnel, the 34 swimmers were presented, had their photos taken and had a group training session under the guidance of head coach Brian Charles.

The full team reads Jenna Lee Campell and Naima Hazell with Jorga Mederick as a reserve in the females age 17. The males in that category are D’andre Blanchard, Ziv Reynolds with Kyle Ambrose and Daniel Maglore as the reserves. In the 9-10 category Katie Kyle, Maya Hilaire and Lovelle Motley will represent the girls while Ethan Dyke Elliot, Jayhan Odlum Smith, Terell Monplaisir and Jamaar Archibald the boys. The 11-12’s are represented by Mikaela Casimir, Abbie Pultie, Eden Crick and Katelin Samuel (girls) and Nicholas McLennon, Nial Bergasse and Devin Boodha (boys). Long listed on the team as well are Kyra Joseph, Gabrielle Marshall, Laura Bruce, Bailey Spiegelberg, Josette Philogen, Solange Lenihan and Vanessa Eugene as part of the girls squad. Long listed on the boys squad are Jyasi Daniel, Mark Emanus, Christopher Phillips, Kyle Ernest, Anthony Francois, Christian Andrew, Runako Daniel with Jonathan Mc Lennon and Steffon  Emmanuel as the reserves.
