At approximately 3:44 pm on Friday 26 November, personnel from the Fire Service Headquarters responded to a call relating to a physical altercation on Darling Road in Castries.
The responding officers found a male individual lying on his back on the ground in the presence of bystanders. He was transferred to the ambulance where an assessment revealed that he had sustained penetrating wounds to his body. With the absence of vital signs, CPR was immediately initiated while his wounds were treated. The patient was provided rapid emergency transportation, during which his condition remained unchanged. He was pronounced dead by a medical practitioner at the OKEU Hospital. He has since been identified as Nicholas Justin alias ‘Chisel’.
