The Rodney Heights Aquatic Centre will host its 14th Annual International Swim Meet, April 11 -14 at the Aquatic Centre.

The meet will be keenly contested over the four days. The morning sessions will be preliminary heats for the 11 and over swimmers and timed finals for those 10 and under. The evening sessions on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be finals for the top eight 11 and over.

The meet format changed this year from being all timed finals to preliminaries and finals in the 11 and over. The meet format is intended to be a part of preparation, for the swimmers taking part in the Commonwealth Youth Games in 2017. It is in this format where swimmers will be required to swim preliminaries, to make top eight times to swim finals and achieve points for their countries. The meet organizer anticipates that more meets of this type will be included in the schedule in years to come.

Sponsors include the Marina at Marigot Bay, Diamonds International, Bay Gardens Hotel, Windward and Leeward Brewery, Ferrands Food Products, Pinnock Brothers Ltd and JE Bergasse and Company Ltd.
