Calling all soca fans and lovers – It’s time to vote once again for your favourite soca act for the 2015 Carnival season.
The People’s Monarch is back in 2015 with The Wave 94.5 & 93.7 FM giving the people the opportunity to vote for the artist most deserving of the prestigious title “The People’s Monarch 2015.”
There are 3 ways to vote:

3. Text the artist name to 9415 from Digicel handset.
The 2015 People’s Monarch will receive a trophy, EC$4,000 cash and a brand new handset. The grand announcement will be made LIVE on The Wave on Wednesday 15th July.
The People’s Monarch for Carnival 2015 is brought to you by The Wave 94.5 & 93.7 FM supported by Digicel 4G, First Citizens Investment Services and Automotive Art (agents for Maximo Maintenance Free Batteries).
The competition will run in different stages. First there is the preliminary round: Wednesday 24th June – Sunday 28th June with 34 artistes to vote for.
The next stage will be the Quarter Finals from Monday 29th June to Friday 3rd July when the number of artistes will be cut to 22.
The semi-final round will run Saturday 4th July – Wednesday 8th July and will feature 12 artistes. This number will then drop to five for the finals which will run Thursday 9th July – Tuesday 14th July.
The winner will then be announced on Wednesday 15th July with the grand presentation on Thursday 16th July, just one day before the biggest party for Saint Lucia’s Carnival: “Outrageous Sexy in Black” on Friday 17th July.
Last year’s People’s Monarch was Sedale (with Wildfire) who performed the massive hit “Pandemonium” at “Outrageous Sexy in Black” last year.
