The St Lucia National Netball Association (SLNBA) is in the final stage of preparations for St Lucia’s participation in the 22nd ECCB/OECS Under-23 Netball Tournament to be held in St John’s Antigua during the period July 6-11.
Seven OECS territories namely Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St Kitts, St Lucia and St Vincent and the Grenadines are scheduled to compete for this year’s ECCB/OECS Under-23 Netball Champions title.
The members of the 2013 National Under-23 Netball Team are: Jo-Ann Anderson, Shaneika Andrew, Nerissa Augustin, Valencia Classe, Leikisha Felix, Lakisha Henry, Chervelle Huggins, Antora Jn Pierre, Sheryln John, Chattany Justin, Faithline Theodore, Patrina Wilson. The team manager is Liota Charlemage-Mason. The coach is Michelle Rogers who will be assisted by Lindel Forde. Genevieve St Croix will be traveling to Antigua to officiate in the capacity of a tournament umpire.
The SLNBA is extremely grateful to LUCELEC and First National Bank for their continued sponsorship of the National Under-23 Netball team. This year, St Lucia National Lotteries Authority has provided much needed financial assistance to off-set the high cost of travel to Antigua.
