(Unicomer St. Lucia Limited)- Unicomer continues to innovate its business practices and policies to help bring financial support to many of its customers in a post COVID-19 economy. With the recent announcement of its Microloans by Courts Ready Cash promotion, small businesses and entrepreneurs are now eligible to receive up to 10% cash back on approved loans. It’s a hassle-free program and provides approvals for qualified customers within 24 hours.

Ms. Celita Thilo, a local business woman, owns and operates a small grocery store in Monchy. She was impacted with by the economic slowdown. “My business is my lifeline, it’s how I feed my family and provide for myself. Prior to COVID-19, my business was thriving. Since the closures, things have been a challenge. I used my excess funds to maintain staff and keep the business afloat. Once things opened back up, I knew that all I needed was a cash injection to purchase supplies and materials to revive my business. That’s when I went to Microloans by Courts Ready Cash and in less than 24 hours, I was approved!”

Microloans by Courts Ready Cash also recently introduced its ContractFinancingProgram a unique initiative designed to provide ‘seed-funding’ to businesses that have been awarded government contracts. “Despite having the expertise to complete the tasks of the job, we know that it is sometimes difficult for contractors to raise the capital to start their projects without a significant cash injection. This program is designed to allow the contractor access to financing through a loan facility, so that they can begin their projects and avoid the delay of waiting for funding”, explained Ms. Casimir, Interim OECS Ready Cash Chain Manager.

Unicomer (St. Lucia) Limited is pleased with the successes of the program to date. Under these new initiatives, almost 200 business customers have already received monetary support to continue to grow and build their businesses. “We knew that we needed to expand our initiatives to help bridge the gap for businesses in our community. So, we expanded our financial offers, streamlined the requirements and made it simpler for eligible applicants to receive their monies on the spot or within 24 hours,” expressed Llana Casimir, Interim OECS Ready Cash Chain Manager.

“I think we all can admit that in times like these, Corporate St. Lucia will need to revolutionize and find ways to augment and restore the economy. Our mission is and continues to be, one that strengthens the communities in which we work and live, proving that Courts indeed cares about its customers and fostering a sustainable economy.”
