UWP Mourns Loss of Former Speaker of the House

Former Speaker of the House St. Clair Daniel.

The United Workers Party wishes to express its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Wilfred St. Clair Daniel on his recent passing.

Mr. St. Clair Daniel was the longest serving Speaker of the House of Assembly of Saint Lucia to date. He served with distinguished honour, during successive UWP-Administrations, between 1982 and 1997, under the leadership of former Prime Minister Sir John G. M. Compton.
