Temporary Research Fellow, Caribbean Educational Research Centre, Faculty of Humanities and Education (for a period of 2 years).
The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus wishes to contract the services of a Temporary Research Fellow for a period of two (2) years.
Applicants should possess a higher degree by research (e.g., M. Phil or PhD) in Education, Educational Psychology or a related area and should have advanced training in research, earned no more than 5 years prior to this application. Applicants should have good leadership skills as well as excellent communication skills (written and oral) and should be willing to participate in skills development activities to extend and hone their research skills.
The Research Fellow will be expected to work collaboratively with the Centre staff and to play a leading role on research teams. Some duties will include making significant contributions to planning and executing research projects, assisting with writing of technical reports and grant proposals and sharing responsibility for compilation and analysis of data.
The successful applicant will be expected to assume duties as soon as possible.
