Fresh off the heels of new season launches of its weekly live call-in cricket show Cover Drive and its weekly live call-in football show Strictly Football, Winners TV introduces the widely anticipated weekly television show “Sports Talk” hosted by the legendary sports commentator Joseph “Reds” Perreira.
This new one hour weekly show will cover a wide range of current sporting disciplines with in-studio guests facing off one on one with “Reds,” who is sure to probe to ensure
that viewers and fans get a true appreciation of the facts.
“Reds” as he is more commonly known is an icon in Caribbean sports broadcasting. Although best know as a cricket commentator, he possesses a stellar back ground in sports administration, making contributions across multiple sporting disciplines-Most recently as President of the St Lucian Amateur Boxing Association.
Perreira was also instrumental in launch of the OECS Sports desk, where he served as the OECS Sports Director for more than a decade. He is also a published author and recipient of national awards from the Governments of Guyana and St Lucia.
“Reds” said “currently there are so many interesting stories of triumph and achievement that St Lucians need to know about. Sports Talk gives sports fans an opportunity to hear it directly from the person or people at the heart of the issue.”
