The Cabot Cares Freekick Community Football Clinics kicked off over the weekend. The clinics form part of the Freekick Foundation’s holistic approach to developing young football talent beyond just competitions and tournaments.

The young talent being coached and developed is drawn primarily from secondary schools across the country. Rohan Lubon is a member of the Freekick Foundation and also the Principal of the Leon Hess Comprehensive School and is one of the main organizers.

Cabot Cares is pleased that its investment of over $67,000 into the development of young persons through sports is already having an impact  through its partnership with Freekick Foundation.

The next stop for the Cabot Cares Freekick Community Football Clinics is Mabouya Valley – a community that has a tradition of high sporting enthusiasm – particularly Football.
